  • In the Economic calendar of today we can expect some volatility in EUR, USD and GBP
  • At 06:00 (GMT) the Gross Domestic Product was released by the National Statistics of UK
  • Gross Domestic Product is a measure of the total value of all goods and services produced by the UK. The results were worse than expected by 0.2% at -2.2%.
  • At 09:00 (GMT) the Euro Consumer Price Index (CPI) was released by the Eurostat
  • The CPI captures the changes in the price of goods and services. The results were better than expected by 0.2% at 0.3%.
  • At 14:00 (GMT) the Consumer Confidence will be released by the US Conference Board.
  • The Consumer Confidence captures the level of confidence that individuals have in economic activity. Generally, a high reading is also positive for the USD, while a low reading is negative.
  • At 14:00 (GMT) the Secretary of the Treasury Steven Terner Mnuchin, will give a speech.
  • At 16:00 (GMT) Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will testify before Congress, providing a broad overview of the economy and monetary policy.
